I've noticed that in some addons and also when viewing strm files the OSD just displays the Stop button with no option to pause, also the pause button on the keyboard/remote does nothing. In previous versions of Kodi this limitation was not there & pausing for 5 seconds or so would help to alleviate any buffering.
Is there any particular reason this was changed & also is there a way to get it back? To me it seems pointless to remove this functionality for the end user.
