Hii Mentors , I would like to work on building a new interface for kodi project . I have prior experience in web development.
Please guide me so that I can start making proposal for it.

A 'new interface' sounds a bit vague to me, as it can refer to multiple technical solutions.
What sort of interface are you referring to?

If you mean the skin then Estuary is still pretty new.

The developer who was chiefly responsible for the Chorus interface no longer has the the time to work on on it and it's written in a language the rest of the Team are unfamiliar with, thus we'd like to replace it.

YES @jjd-uk you are right.

Seems @Razze is down as a possible mentor for this project, so a ping to him to see if he has anything to add.

Well I would actually try to re-implement chorus 2 pretty much design wise. But with another technology, preferably Elm or Svelte
