Hi

I've got a 2TB WD HDD and I want to plug it in to my plusnet router to play all my media files. So far I'm having no luck. The HDD has been formatted on a Mac

This is what happens
1. File Manager
2. Add Source
3. Browse
4. Window Network SMB
5. Home
6. PNHUB 1

Nothing is there

Can anyone help?

1. does router recognise your drive/its filesystem?
   
2. can you access the drive from another pc/Mac via smb?
   

Hello

1. It doesn't recognise the drive even though i've reformatted it according to the ISP's website
2. I can access it on Kodi but not through SMb

so, maybe 1) is the source of the issue? or can you try something other than smb?
