Dear all,

I have a bunch of video material I have recorded using a DVD recorder. I once copied the data of the discs to my NAS and muxed the files into single .mpg files (*no* transcoding, just re-muxing!).

Using my desktop systems, playback is just fine, but when I play these videos using Kodi (Raspberry Pi 3, LibreELEC), audio and video become out of sync. When I pause the video shortly, it is fine then for again maybe 1-2 minutes.

If I recall it correctly, video is slower than video / i.e. audio ist faster than video.

I also tried to put such a video on a USB stick and play it while the stick is plugged into the Raspberry directly, it doesn't make a difference.

Any hints?

Sure.. -> Debug log (wiki)
By your command:

https://paste.kodi.tv/gocobusupa.kodi

I did the following
- start kodi with debug logging enabled
- play "Langer_Samstag_Hape_Kerkeling.mpg" from a directly connected USB stick until video and audio are out of sync for some time
- stop playback
