im here becouse of same issue. (sorry for re-run this thread, but is on top of google search so this can be usefull for more users)
I had Mi Box 4k, and now bought Mi Box 4k S and have same problem.
With Kodi 18 and Kodi 19 - during zooming, it stretch only verticaly.
I have question, becouse i wonder to refund product, and buy Pine64 H64 Model B, then install latest LibreELEC with Kodi.
How can i be sure that on this platform You are support zomming? Or this is platform where this is not working properly too?
