I'm having a problem playing video. I'm thinking about buying a appletv but was going to try XMBC on my macbook first. The video's play fine but the sound will not go past zero. I'm using the default xbox360 presets in handbrake to rip my DVDs. They are .mp4 files with H.264 codec. The audio codec is AAC stereo. I'm streaming them on UPnP from a freeNAS box.I really dont want to have to rip them all again Thanks in advance!

I've been having this issue as well, I'm playing Tekzilla (or any other Revision3 podcast). I think it stems from AAC audio. I'm just playing it off the hard drive, and the sound works fine in other video programs.

Need more info on both of these, OSX version, svn or alpha3/alpha4 version of XBMC for Mac. Any errors in the xbmc.log, etc. Remember dont post the full log here, use a pastebin site and post the url to it here.
