Hi bergqvistjl,

I am not seeing an issue with either DASH or HLS live content on any channels.
Two things:
- Could you provide a debug log (wiki)? I am not sure the one you provided had 'Debug' enabled
- Could you provide a full unedited log please?

Thanks

When I load the mpd file in VLC, it plays fine.

On demand programmes using DASH play fine in Kodi.
The log shows that the initial manifest loads correctly, but the media segments return HTTP error 410. This error means the requested resource is no longer available.

I don't know why the server reacts this way, but it seems it does not like Kodi requesting the data.

Which version of Kodi and Inputstream adaptive are you running?

I don't know if the fact you are going thru AKAMAI has anything to do with it. Maybe CaptainT can answer that.
I can't get it to work with Dash & Akamai together either.
It only seems to work with Dash and Limelight chosen.
Under Addon settings/Streams , can you try to select Limelight for Live content and see what happens?

Do you get the same errors for Akamai that @bergqvistjl is seeing?

Edit: Also, which pool number did you get redirected to?
CaptainT,
The error does not return a http code as the OP, just

ERROR: Playlist Player: skipping unplayable item: 0, path [plugin://plugin.video.iplayerwww/?url=bbc_one_hd&mode=203&name=BBC+One.....
It appears that inputstream.adaptive 2.0.19 is incorrectly initialising the first DASH segment URL. The segment number is always 1873, regardless of when you attempt to connect. The number should increase with time for a live stream. 1873 also is way too small to be a valid segment number for BBC live streams, so the request fails with a 410 response code. It looks like it is calculating the first segment number at the end of the 2-hour scrollback buffer as it should, but without accounting for the current time. FWIW, everything works OK for me with Leia RC 5.2 and inputstream.adaptive 2.3.12 (macOS 10.14).

Great find, thank you!

@bergqvistjl can you update your installation and confirm this resolves the issue, please?

To which version (and kodi or just the inputstream.adaptive plugin?) should I update?

Kodi is telling me that version 2.0.19 is the latest version. Where can I download a more recent one?

You'll need to update Kodi itself first. If you are on Windows try updating to the latest Kodi 18 RC. It should be fairly stable by now.
But it’s still ok on 17.6 ??
