Thank you so much. This is what I was looking for a quite long time.

Thanks for that hint. I wasn't aware of that repo. But why don't these releases show up at the GitHub repo of inputstream.adaptive? Are these official builds or did somebody just start counting up from 1.0.6?

(2017-04-11, 10:03)bicky Wrote: [ -> ]I recently purchased a Venz V10 Pro box, running Android. I since converted this to dual boot, so now I have Kodi 17 on the Android and Kodi 16 on the LibreElec.

I tried 1.0.8 from the repo mentioned by Eye in the sky and I can play live TV just fine on Linux. This might be an Android issue. Other users previously reported that Kodi crashed whenever playing DASH streams on an Android box. Unfortunately, my Android box is stuck on KitKat, so I cannot test this myself.
Hi there
I'm a very happy user of the addon, but the last week or so my Raspberry PI has been running hot when streaming content from it. And when et happens, the stream does not run smoothly and sometimes it even stops. I know there has been discussions of RPI3 running hot, but this started happening some time last week and it does not happen with other tv content plugins that I use. What could be wrong?

My Android is using Marshmallow 6.0 - isn't it possible for you to upgrade ??

What do you mean by hot? Does the thermometer symbol appear?
Running hot basically means high cpu - what is cpu when playing with iplayer? (e.g. with 'o' key).
If HW decode is disabled then cpu will be high? Do you have MMAL or omxplayer enabled?
Hi, are the 'categories' broken for anyone else?

My Android box is based on an older Amlogic chip and Amlogic refuse to provide a new (Marshmallow or later) SDK for it. So no, I cannot upgrade as much as I would like to.

I managed to resurrect my old MXQ Amlogic box with a build of LibreELEC.
The Krypton build was a big sluggish on my box but the Jarvis one is excellent.

That would bring Jarvis to the box, but would not help locating issues with DASH on Android.

I'm pretty sure that was a poor taste attempt at an April Fools joke or AW move or something, who knows. Either way, according to their forum his last activity was today at 01:51 PM. Unless he is accessing the site from the grave I'd say it was just a poor attempt at a 'joke'.

True. Just take that as an off topic bit of info. Wink

I can test DASH on the Nvidia Shield if you want.

That is pretty tasteless if it is true. I didn't see any posts from him after 30th March and he was pretty active before. Let's hope it's not true. I've lost people in car accidents and it isn't something to joke about.

I completely agree it's in very poor taste, I'm just going off what's shown on their forum activity:
