If you're hoping for help, this isn't the way to get it. The addon works fine (I use it every day). If you just want to bitch, then fine, you've done that. If you want help, you need to post details of your problem and debug logs showing the problem you are having.

Not sure who's fault it is, not sure I care anymore. But LibreElec devs have decided they know better than anyone else that one shouldn't use the audio output on their audio players, and have added barriers to enable it. This add-on was mentioned with promises of using it being able to enable the output. It doesn't. Hence my complaint.

I still find it ridiculously stupid that one has to manually edit a config file just to enable the option to use an audio output on an audio player, rather than the option to use it being present by default. But that's hardly the fault of this add-on.

CoreELEC 21.1 Ugoos AM6B Plus

Been using this Add-on for sometime now to switch audio between the SPDIF (Headphones) and the HDMI (TV) outputs on the Ugoos. Working really well up until recently, I'm getting audio from both the HDMI and SPDIF Outputs at the same time when the SPDIF mode is used. But only with some videos. I did not even know it was possible to have audio from both outputs at the same time!

Any ideas why audio from both?

This add-on doesn't do anything fancy other than load a bunch of saved settings. If you're getting odd behavior from Kodi, the Linux support area is going to be the place that someone will see and answer your question.
