New to this so really appreciate the help. I'm running Kodi 18.6 on a QNAP 251+ NAS. It's connected by HDMI to my Vizio television. In playback, the video frequently freezes for a millisecond, especially when there is movement in the shot. It's incredibly distracting and annoying.
I've read many posts on this problem and have applied the solutions identified. I've set refresh to Always and turned off hardware acceleration. Still happening.
I'm playing 1080 files (I've given up on 4K for now, picking my battles).
