I have kodi leia running on windows 10, I purchased this remote control

I like the remote but the power button function shuts down the system.
I have googled and tried to add a remote.xml to the userdata with no success.

I have also tried the keymap editor addon with no luck as it shuts down the system before I can remap.

Would someone be kind enough to help me?
I would love the power button to just close kodi and not shut down the system

I think it's a hardware command on that limited button device and not re-mappable. Out of curiosity how is the microphone?

OK, maybe I can stop it from shutting down on the windows side instead of kodi. I did not even know it was possible to shut down windows 10 with one button press.
I am not even sure how to remote communicates yet, I think it just emulates keyboard strokes.

This Remote controls (wiki) should give you a good overlook, using Google I found a ton of help in this regard on quick-setup.
