I want to play ripped 4k movies (HDR10) from my NAS to a LG OLED65C9 over a 1GB wired network.  When I looked at media servers a few years ago, a NUC or home built equivalent seemed to the way to go.  Now there are off the shelf devices streaming devices that can run Kodi.  I want a very fast, reliable system with little to no studdering due to buffering.  What devices do you recommend?  If I use a NUC/custom PC it will have an Intel 10th gen cpu.  A separate PC will be used for ripping.
Thanks!
Hi,

And yes the first 4K HDR10 option is fast, stable and snappy and gives you what you want out of the box.
^ This. Save yourself the hassle and money; go with off-the-shelf.
