Most subforums here talk about playback for Kodi and the various hardware platforms.

I'm hoping a subforum that is dedicated for media storage, whether it be off-the-shelf systems, DIY, direct attached storage, etc..

I'm not sure which way you want to go with this one. Kodi is not really about hardware storage, and anything related to that could be placed in the #hardware section. Things like RAID or certain disk formats are outside the scope of the Kodi application.

Should you need very specific information on a NAS product, I'm sure there are more dedicated forums out there, including those from the NAS manufacturers themselves.
