here is the results but it never saves my changes @HugoL  for resoltuion

yes monitor should only be like this if you defaulted it with HDMI to TV.

Didn't you used to set this to 1080p and just let the TV do the upscaling?

Apparently, that's the best way as your TV will have a better upscaler than Kodi.
That's My default resolution for the TV and kodi. I have to enable 1080 because it's a lower resolution for the TV.
It's a 8k tv but defaults in kodi to 4k 120hz
@mathu204 here is a quick video to get you started with your tags and smart playlists... I was a couple beers in when I made it so I could have probably done a better job of outlining step by step for different kinds of playlists but just experiment I'm sure you will figure it out I did and I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.

@mathu204, Following on from this helpful video, you can access playlists through Bingie by going to your library and then bring up the library context menu (left off widget focus if using bingie views) and select this option:
Image

There, you will find the edit playlist option.   Tags aren't actually necessary in a lot of cases. Anything you see in skin playlists can just be recreated with this option, of course with your own set of rules.

I've got a playlist with rules that will just show my favourite directors for example, another for only displaying titles with specific actors. And then you can even combine these playlists to make a new playlist with all the rules from both. It's really simple when you know how.

You also have the option of doing it through a text editor using XML which must be a lot quicker once you're comfortable with the format of a smart playlist file. I'm going to do this myself soon I think.
XML = easy lol that's a riot. Believe it or not I have played around in the code for the average user who doesn't have a programming or coding background using the Kodi controls is the easier method but if you are up for a challenge it is fun to mess around with the xml it's how people like Carman Achilles and HugoL get started to keep this skin ever evolving so try it out if you are up for the challenge.

I don’t know about easy. I mean, it seems simple enough to me but I have spent a few months in the xmls now and the format for playlists in particular look a hell of a lot simpler than anything you’ll encounter in the skin folders.

However, I didn’t actually say that. I said it should be quicker, so that’s why I’m going to start doing them through a text editor instead.

Well it's a lot lot easier through the xml.

I stand corrected it's not even quicker for someone like me who types with two fingers lol. Thank you for the last few months in the xmls.

Ok. I think the issue is that you’ve changed them in the past so it’s set. The new ones are a replacement for the default old ones.

I have feeling, the only way to get them now is to restore your menu items in the configure shortcuts menu.

Should be able to change them in the settings by clicking change icon and finding the new icons

I don’t think so. That folder doesn’t point to the new icons. Think that’s next of my list of things to do.
