In mythtv through the mythtv frontend I set a LiveTV timer of 6 hours in case I forget to stop watching liveTV and just turn off the TV. I have a remote backend and and a raspberry PI connecting to the backend to watch LiveTV through Kodi. I forgot to stop watching LiveTV and just shut the TV off and mythtv just kept recording. Does the watchdog just check when I'm using the mythtv frontend and not with Kodi? Is there a setting in Kodi using the mythtv PVR?
