I installed Kodi in Raspbian. (Raspbian 10 Buster (kernel: Linux 4.19.118-v7 / Kodi 18.7 Git 20200528 compiled 2020-06-12)
As Kodi in Raspbian isn’t running in windowed mode it always runs on HDMI 0 (the one besides the power adapter).
I wanted Kodi to run on both screens (not at the same time ... so either standard or TV)
My setup:
Standard Monitor (for everyday use) can handle max 1024x768 and HDTV (1920x1080)
I now added a HDMI-switch, so the output of HDMI 0 can either go to the standard monitor (1024x768) or to a tv (resolution 1920x1080).
I then created two profiles with two different resolutions (profile A and profile B).
The profiles are identic except the resolution. But switching from Profile A to Profile B doesn't change the resolution.
On profile B under system settings it says 1920x1080, but if i logon to Profile B it remains on 1024x768 (from profile A)
Is there a way to overcome this?
