Kodi Community Forum

So here is the thing: Kodi app on Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4S (with Android9) doesn’t play some video files. Most of the files (all .mkv and even more) are being played but some .avi and .mp4 – no. At the very beginning I thought it might be some codec issue (like someone described in the forum) but I am able to play the same files using Kodi app on my Huawei (p10, aandroid9) mobile phone (video files stored on NAS). Adding the files and log files here:

Any ideas what is the issue here and how to play those files?

Enabling debugging and restarting Kodi before providing the debug log would be nice. Please try again.
Also using FTP isn't the most optimum choice for streaming video files IMO.
