Hi,

I have a question and maybe someone recognizes my problem. I have bought a Eminent media player 7680, which I had to update to Kodi 18.1 but I notice when playing dvd iso files, that the quality is worse than when I play the exact same files on a DVD in a regular DVD player.

I used to have a eminent 7480 and there I didn't have the problem. Sadly the software of that player keeps hanging somewhere when starting up.

Does anyone recognizes this or has a solution?

Eminent provides their own version of Kodi for their devices, Team Kodi has nothing to do with those tweaked versions. I know they are a bit slow(er) in updating their media players (18.1 sounds like they have a bit of catching up to do), but for now it's best to first contact their support directly, and ask if solutions are possible for your video play problems.
