I am running the LibreELEC nightly from 10/6.

When trying to resume, I get a spinning blue circle and the movie never plays.  after about 20 minutes, it crashed

For a proper debug log file, enable debugging and restart LibreELEC, then reproduce the problem(s).
Also, I don't see a video being started in both your log files.

You could use the LibreELEC forum instead of this forum.
