Hello,
I've been using Kodi for some time now, but I yesterday I came across an mkv file with the following audio channel:
and there is no sound when I play it. On my computer, MPC HC won't play sound, but VLC will.
Now I am puzzled. I googled a lot, and althouth I am an IT guy, I must admit that I was lost pretty quickly with all those technical audio terms and all the available encoding formats.
So. What can I do? Do I need an additional decoder plugin for Kodi?
My setup:
Raspi 4 with LibreELEC, PHILIPS 55PUS8303, MAGNAT Sounddeck 600.
