It works with refresh info, thank you.

(2020-10-16, 04:25)Crashtastic Wrote: [ -> ]Can you confirm from the log file that you’re running into the same issue with the same log lines?

Also, cam you confirm what version of the scraper add-on the log is picking up?  If Kodi is reading the updated scraper, you should see a log line similar to this:

2020-10-15 22:11:29.963 T:17208 NOTICE: ADDON: metadata.common.themoviedb.org v3.2.5 installed

Yep:  I still seem to have the same long lines, and yep, looks like it has the newest version.

Do I need to refresh everything?  Or is the missing art supposed to just load on demand now?

Sorry. Forgot to nawer your question in the previous post. And there doesn’t appear to be an edit button for me to change it.

You asked if the missing art is supposed to load on demand?  The answer is it didn’t for me. I had to go into each movie that was missing the poster and fanart, then select “Refresh” for it to pickup the images. If i just leave it, it won’t update on it’s own.

I’m just testing the “Update Playlist” option now to see if it does a bulk update of all the missing images in one shot.

Yep. Looks like that did the trick.   So you can do a bulk update using “Update Playlist”. However, it won’t populate the image art on its own. However, if you have a lot of movies that are missing images, this could take awhile.

Yes, as the artwork links you have in your library database are http, which is where the problem now lies. If the links are https then they would all load on demand.

Okay. So apparently i jumped the gun in assuming the “Update Library” option populates missing posters and other images.

I watching Kodi do the scan and noticing it was picking up lots of entries. So I assumed all those entries were the ones that were missing images. Well, those entries were actually movies what weren’t picked up on a previous scan. So once it completed, I still have a lot of movies that are missing posters. I think I’m simply going to clear the data and reconfigure Kodi from scratch again. That’s likely quicker than trying manually update hundreds, possibly thousands of movies.
After the update, it works fine for movies, but not for TV shows:

Some of that is an unrelated error. If you can provide the full Debug Log like I previously asked, then we might be able to help you, otherwise you are on your own.

Have you restarted Kodi after the update?

Where is it failing-
1. You have scraped a new movie/tv show and the artwork is not dowloading, or
2. You are trying to change artwork for an existing movie/tv show in your library?

Yep.  Ive restarted several times.

After I noticed that it was not DLing artwork for new movies, I fought with it a bit before finding this thread.
As part of my attempts to fix it, I did a re-scan of everything (which made most of the rest of the artwork disappear too).
Then I found this thread and updated to the new scraper library.

I just went and did a re-scan of everything, and now it seems to be fixed, although whenever I do this re-scan I lose all my content exceptions on folders.  There aren't many... but I wish there was a better way to "rescan everything."

Anyway, I think I am good now, but I am surprised I needed to rescan.
Sorry, missed your post. In fact missed a whole page of posts for some reason.

(2020-10-15, 14:43)Crashtastic Wrote: [ -> ]From the logs you submitted from your successful scraping attempt, I noticed that you’re running Kodi 19.0-ALPHA2 (18.9.702).  Like some others have indicated here, I suspect there has been a change from TMDB’s side which is causing this issue. Is it possible that your Alpha version of Kodi contains an update of the TMDB scraper which can handle whatever changes were made on TMDB’s side, therefore you don’t notice any issues with the scraping?  While any of us running Kodi 18.0 or earlier are likely to encounter this problem?
As it turns out, it is not because I was using Alpha-2 but because I was using the Python generation of scrapers that avoided the problem.

(2020-10-15, 14:43)Crashtastic Wrote: [ -> ]My theory is a change occurred on TMDB’s side which the TMDB scraper within Kodi was not expecting. I believe Karellen is not experiencing the issue because he or she is running a later version of Kodi which I suspect contains a later version of the TMDB scraper add-on and isn’t impacted by this issue. I suspect anyone running Kodi 18.0 (Leia) is likely going to notice the issue.
TheMovieDB have confirmed what the problem is... https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/5f8807a3...0033b0f206
if anyone is able to compile kodi v19, please try https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/18577

Log
This is a standard scraper The Movie Database v.3.5.3.

Thanks.
Thanks @vgmedia

I can see the errors. I notice you are using FreeBSD, so I think you may be a special case. Let me discuss with the developers.
@vgmedia

Can you redo the log please. But this time can you enable Component Logging and select libcURL
Thanks a lot for the fix, but it is still failing to scrape TV Shows.

Since the 3.2.5 update, all the movies are perfectly getting their artwork, but not the TV Shows. I also use TheMovieDatabase for my series better than TheTVDB.

I can also confirm that TMDB TV show Scraper 3.5.3 is failing to download images.  Movies are now working perfectly but TV shows are not.

I'm seeing the following error when Kodi tries to download an image from TMDB.

Code:
2020-10-16 07:45:13.901 T:28888   ERROR: CCurlFile::Stat - Failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer(56) for http://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/5AHe7...G9sFCJ.jpg

Here is a debug log from trying to scrape a couple of series. - https://pastebin.com/Zj1BGvjk
Same issue here.  Movies are fine, but TV shows are randomly not pulling Posters, fanart, series art, cast art etc.
