Hello, I'm from Chile. I recently bought a Smart TV with Android TV (9). I also have an old Samsung home theather receiver with Optical input.
I'm triyng to get simple 5.1 sound from MKV files with 6chanels AAC audio, but i get nothing, just stereo.
When I enable passthrough it's goes mute.
(With Netflix it goes OK, and using UPnP with the Native Media Player also works.)
Searching arround, I found the shitty builds (thanks to fritsch), that help other users on similar problems. I tryied some of them, but the only change I get was a loud and anoying sound (from TV speakers and Receiver) when activating passthrough.
I hope someone here can help me with this issue, maybe there's a build or some configuration I'm missing.
I know that to know what is happening the log it's needed, but I don't know what log to share (plain Kodi from Play Store, or a Shitty version.. and wich one).
