I have always had this problem with Kodi. I have to go to another player to watch any .avi video. The video starts playing fine then at some point (usually withing the first 10 minutes) the video looks like it fast forwards and when it stops the audio and video no longer match. This fast forward only happens for about 10 seconds. But audio/video remain out of sync for the remainder of the time as far as I know.
