HEllo,

kodi on mibox works correctly with my old nas that share its video using SMB and a dedicated video account with password.

I replace the nas by a new one, at same ip adresse, and same folder. all is identical except password.

kodi can't connect to the new nas and don't ask for the new password.

what is the solution ?

in brief all my path are allready configured to smb://<NAS IP>/<different path to film, series, etc.>

and I just want to edit the password ... but I don't succeed

I modify password in password.xml and it did the job. i needed to use xfile app in my mibox and it was painful...
