First time user and I'm using Kodi 19.1 from my firestick and my NAS is a PC connected to the internet through a portable adapter, both the firestick and my PC are on the same wifi.
So I'm trying to add a video source from SMB. I believe I've set everything up for SMB2 on my Windows 10 Pro PC, so I put in my PC's IP into add network location and no matter what I get "Connection Timed Out" when attempting to connect. Then, I put my device name into it instead and I just get some variation of "No Route to Host" or "Connection Timed Out". I've fooled around in the command prompt and powershell for a long time but still have not been able to make any sort of connection beyond those two errors.
What's going on?
