I was very positive about Kodi PVR to begin with, but upon learning that you cannot SEARCH efficiently, the app quickly became a useless one for me. That's ONE SIMPLE thing that should've been in place at the top right corner or somewhere on the screen when viewing the TV channels, but nope... There's no way to search for a specific channel. And yes, I am aware that you can go to TV > Search, but good luck searching for i.e "la liga" when trying to find the tv channel "La Liga TV", because that's not going to do it...

Is there really NO possible way to easily search through the channels for a channel that I want to watch?

How about you start off by telling us which PVR system you are using.
Don't say Kodi because Kodi does not have its own PVR system

No, currently there is no dedicated channel search functionality. Workaround:

Open channels window
Open the side blade (arrow left or "m")
Aktivate "Filter"
Enter the search term
-> channel window displays only the channels matching your filter

Better: get your 30 or 40 channels you're really watch on favorite list and give it numbers you can remember.
