I prefer translucent black background + white text without border.

Is there any way to remove this black subtitle border / stroke / outline? Very annoying.

Kodi / Settings / Player / Language

Kodi Settings "Expert"

The feature to customize the subtitle border (outline) will be available in Kodi 20
