My Kodi on Chromecast with Google TV force closes since of today. Any one know why?

Kodi itself hasn't changed. Were there any updates on the Chromecast dongle?

It seems to have started with a recent update to Chromecast with Google TV.  I am having the same crashes on firmware 1.52.253741

Android TV also seems to have had an update around the same time that breaks Kodi.
