The problem I'm seeing is that all of the custom top menu choices I create appear to get linked to one of two custom submenus. And if I change a submenu choice for one top menu item, it changes the submenu choices for all the top menu choices that share that submenu.
So for example, there's top level menus for "SEARCH", "CARTOONS", and "DOWNLOADS" that all now have the exact same submenu. I didn't create that manually. It just happened at some point. And if I change the entry "FILES" under "DOWNLOADS", the entry "FILES" will change under all three menu choices.
I would really like these delinked so I can have the appropriate submenu choices under each menu. Any suggestions how I might fix this? I started looking through Kodi\userdata\addon_data\skin.aeonmq8\settings.xml to see if I could find something obvious, but frankly I had a hard time understanding the way that data is used.
I suspect I could reinstall and there's a good chance the problem might go away. But I have lot of time invested in setting things up just the way I like. I really don't want to do it again.
