So in any version of Kodi 19 I haven't been able to use the pvr client, I tried both with m3u file and m3u link and it always acts the same... Also tried android box, android phone and windows 10, it crashes on all of them. I also tried using Kodi 18.9 and older versions, and on them it works fine with channels that work, but as soon as it comes across a non working channel, it hangs on it for around 1-2 minutes before skiping it
Can you post a full debug log so we can try to see what’s happening?

Please also explain what happens when it crashes. Is it on startup, playing a channel etc.

Not sure in what places in the log my playlist url gets mentioned so I just took out the last line which is an error which I guess causes the crash

ERROR <general>: CCurlFile::Exists - Failed: Timeout was reached(28) for https://xxx:xxx/user/password/9473
Sorry, I’ll need the full debug log to look into this. Just obfuscate any domains, usernames password that you need to.
uvimetubod.kodi (paste) there you go, although this time I didn't get the same error message from my previous post at the end of the log
Edit: managed to get a slightly better log using some throwaway list and waiting for a little bit while it was frozen

kojinijose.kodi (paste)
Edit#2 so apparently if you wait long enough without pressing any other button (around 1 minute) the channel starts playing, and every next channel switch also takes around 1 minute, as seen in this video

Honestly, I think your current provider just has low quality feeds. Likely you need to find one with more reliable streams.

Admittedly, kodi should not crash but it freezing cause it’s being drip fed a low quality stream very slowly is not uncommon.

I don't think that's the case because same playlists work flawlessly in every IPTV app, and in Kodi 18.9 as well... I only have problem with Kodi Matrix

Edit: That same playlist on Android Kodi 18.9, no problem whatsoever

Did you try disabling timeshift and catchup in the addon settings?

Yep, it wasn't even enabled... I also tried with vlc user agent and that didn't help either, and few different m3u lists, it just doesn't work on Kodi 19 and later
Can you try forcing it to use inputstream.ffmpegdirect or inputstream.adaptive to see if that makes a difference?

You can set a default in the addon settings.
Yes this problem I've been having as well strictly a Kodi 19 thing 18.9 it's flawless but it's to be expected Kodi 19 is still relatively new to an extent just waiting on a fix still loving Kodi tho it's a BEAST!!!
Did using inputstream.ffmpegdirect or inputstream.adaptive make a difference?
No it didn't and it takes forever to load the channels (stuck on 0%), takes some time to actually load the channels it's un- bearable takes too long!!!
