Any chance of you providing a debug log (wiki) via pastebin as per the bold red reminder below?

You didn't turn on event logging in the system folder, consequently there is not enough information in the log to suggest a problem.

Neither of those logs show a crash ...  The first one did but as already stated, Kodi wasn't in debug mode so difficult to tell exactly what happened.

I'm sorry I am a nincompoop with this. I've uploaded four more files;

Crash Log: hastebin - uvikosided (kodi.tv)
Stack Trace: hastebin - orisituqap (kodi.tv)
Log: hastebin - sehanahimo (kodi.tv)
Log Old: hastebin - eholoyofel (kodi.tv)

From testing, I think the Unity skin or one of its dependencies is causing the crashes on exit.

So make a fresh install and skip that skin...

In case of problems, always go back to the system default skin Estuary for troubleshooting.
Also check the kodi.old.log for further clues.
