You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Windows OS
Newest Kodi with SIlvo Skin
Show Name: The Great

Season 1 will not scrape. Season 2 scrapes fine. I have attached screenshots of naming schemes, which are: /mnt/user/media/tv/The Great/Season 1/Showname.S##E##.EpisodeTitle.QualityFull and /mnt/user/media/tv/The Great/Season 2/Showname.S##E##.EpisodeTitle.QualityFull
I have also attached a link to my debug log. Any help would be appreciated I have never run into this before and not been able to eventually figure it out.

@mikedpitt420

Can you post your tvshow.nfo. Upload the contents to Kodi Paste Site and provide the link.
Also in case it matters, Plex seems to pick them all up as they are currently named.
Could you open your S01E01 nfo file and delete the <thumb> tag
I assume you have local artwork.

Does it scan now?
Attached is a link to the edited NFO. It still does not scan. I do have local artwork though.

I need the log to check what is happening.

As a side issue, sonarr nfo files are not 100% compatible with Kodi. But lets sort out the original issue first.
Debug log is linked in the OP. Please let me know if there's anything else that you may need.

No, I need the one that captures the scrape after you removed the artwork link.

This is the debug log from a library update with the s01e01 NFO with the thumb line omitted.

Please tell me if there 's anything else. Thank you again very much for the help

Because you have tried to scan this show so many times, Kodi now doesn't bother. So you need to force Kodi to see this as a new show.
Delete the show from the library. Rename the folder from \The Great to \The Great (xxxx) to include the year.
Now scan the show into your library. Make sure you capture this in a Debug Log, because this is the scan that will give me the info I need.
And don't run an Update library. Find the tv show in Videos>Files>Your source and then select i on your keyboard to scan this one show.
You want to check if S01E01 with the removed <thumb> tag has scanned into the library.
Kodi in windows seems to be garbage, this has now happened all the time with multiple shows and I know several other users who have the same. Misses random stuff if any large library. I will be moving to linux again this is ridiculous.
The replies that I have gotten are, no offense, cop outs. No reason these shouldn't work. Linux versions of kodi work. "Well its scanned this directory and not been successful so it's ignored? Does this make sense to anyone else? Or is this kodi failing? Cause it is. I'm sorry to be rude but this is not me it's kodi and to keep being told it's another issue is dishonest
All of my media is chmodded 777 and kodi just won't see or recognize it windows. It's a kodi windows fail. I've given you several log files. It's a kodi failure with scraping period
I have several hundred files I can browse to and have NFOs or not and they still don't get seen. I am happy to try whatever else. The HTPC I'm using now is brand new and still same issues where every linux HTPC I have has 0 issues
