Full Version: Estuary MOD V2 Matrix/Nexus/Omega KN Edition
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
When updating the skin all addons will be untouched. Please provide a debug log so we can take a look into this.

EDIT: If you call your movies/tvshows by plugin, the new introduced helper script will fail. An Update comes immediately.
I think this might be related to "calculate/display size of a file", as kodi crashes if the movie/ tv show widget is clicked to go to view information screen, I can select play and it will play fine, I'm using Jellyfin BTW, log link below
Before providing an immediate update of the skin could you test the changes?

  1. Download Zip from github: https://github.com/b-jesch/skin.estuary..../Nexus.zip
  2. Rename folder inside the zip from "skin.estuary.modv2-Nexus" to "skin.estuary.modv2"
  3. Choose "install from Zip" and select the previous downloaded/changed Zip.
Yes, it's working now, thanks for the quick fix!

quick fix of helper script (cause kodi to crash when file path is a plugin call)
Can it be possible if you can change when you click on extended info on video osd it could open Extended Info-diamond Mod.
Extended Info is based on Embuary Info and adapted to this skin. It's not possible to implement the Mod. Sorry.
Ah Shame but okay

do you have a link to a PR or perhaps something else so i can see the changes?
I've been experimenting with Estuary MOD V2 because I wanted to add some new categories to the main home menu, and I found that very straightforward to do.  But I'm having trouble adding any items to those new categories: for example, I added "Holmes and Watson", put all the relevant media files into a directory with the same name, and added that directory as a source; the usual scan seemed to be working (the file names were displayed in the upper right-hand corner as the scan progressed) but when I later clicked on Holmes and Watson in the main menu, nothing came up.

I know that the file names are correct because before I tried this I had them all in the main Movies directory and they scanned perfectly from there.  Apart from using the name of the new directory in place of "Movies" in the path to the source, I followed exactly the same procedure this time.

I'd be grateful for any thoughts as to what I might be doing wrong.  Is there perhaps some particular, slightly different, procedure that has to be followed for additional categories?

Many thanks.
I noticed that some shows in my TV guide have an icon that overlaps the title -

Is this because I'm missing an image pack, or is there some setting I can adjust so they don't overlap?
This is the "premiered" or "new" status flag generated by your TV/EPG provider. Normally this should not overlap, so it's a bug. Will be fixed at next update.

That's the wrong way.
  1. at first create a smart playlist where the roles/filters match your preferences (e.g. title contains "Holmes and "Watson" or path must contain ...)
  2. check your playlist
  3. add a new menu item and add the smart playlist as a predefined widget and as content to the menu entry
Is there a way to add a button to the music player, which sets the display/TV off, while continueing the audio passthrough to my AV/aplifier?
I don't mean a screensaver which starts after x minutes/seconds.
i.e. While having visitors, I don't want the screen to be on, but still hear the music by just pushing a button.
And by pushing a random (or specific) button turn the screen on again to select the next song/album/artist.
So far all I find are addons that work like a screen saver (like "Black" and "Dim") after a specific time of no use, and most also disable audio.
(or maybe there already excists an addon that does this, but I couldnt't find one)
