Yep, but the HDMI output is internally more than one device. See this log which shows Kodi starting up on the same card and listing the five internal connections it sees. For ref, my amp appears on HDMI#1 but the passthrough capabilities are listed for each internal connection as

DTSHD-MA and TrueHD both work fine on that card here on Linux.
