Hello dear community,

I want to help you troubleshoot the bug that I have since I think, you use v4l instead of prioritary GPU drivers.
The problem i'm facing is a simple endless buffering when watching live TV. I'm using Mediaportal PVR addon from Margro, i've try old one and the latest, same thing... buffer.
It happens with mpeg2 streams (ota) and my H264 streams also (hauppauge colossus).

I have this problem only on my Rpi4, i'm using LibreELEC 10.0.1.

My setup work flawlessly with my laptop (kodi 19.3), my iMac (kodi 19.3) and even on my PS4 running ArchLinux (kodi 19.3)

Is there something you need that I can provide to help ?

Does the problem occur with hw acceleration disabled?

Yes it does.

Is Pi connected wired or wireless? Can you check network bandwidth (e.g. with iperf or by copying a large file?)

I'm wired, it does that only with .TS files (TV) recordings also.

Can you play the .ts file through the file interface, rather than the PVR recordings interface?

Yeah it plays really fine through the file interface.

I finally gave up with Mediaportal after 12 years. All those new problems are solved with an other PVR backend.
