How can one open the normal search window supplied with Kodi? And how could one create a shortcut to do it?
I have installed (and deactivated) the Global Search Script which does not work properly. It obviously opens instead of the normal search
Perhaps
this might be the solution, how search on the home page is implemented is a
skin feature. You could mark the search program as a favourite and tie that in with a home screen widget, button or menu if the skin accommodates custom tags.
