Kodi Community Forum

I have Kodi 19.4 running on Manjaro and I would like to get my Harmony Elite remote to work with it. All of the threads I have found so far have been using Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Note: I also have an Inteset USB IR receiver that I was hoping would work for this setup.

Take a look at flirc.  I use it on windows for all of my kodi installs but the site says it also works on linux.

Basically it will translate whatever button into a keyboard press for you to use in Kodi.  Very highly customizable.  You can pretty much program it to do anything you want by mapping a button to any keyboard press and if you have to, adjust the keyboard mappings in kodi to do what you want.
