Two things...
- Fedora is one of those OS/distributions that compiles, builds and tweaks their own Kodi releases. So you may want to contact Fedora developers for that.
- You have not enabled "Debugging" in Kodi. When you do enable it, a more detailed log file will follow with perhaps a clue as to why Kodi would crash. There is possibly also a crash log file available.
