I use a m3u8 live Stream (1080p, Dolby 5.1)via Pvr simple Client- it buffers every  5sec -
other Hls-streams working well without buffering 
After I added

#KODIPROP:inputstreamclass=inputstream.adaptive
#KODIPROP:inputstream.adaptive.manifest_type=hls
in m3u file
then the Stream works like a charm (no buffering anymore, but 1080p and Dolby+ 2.0 as output)

No clue for the buffering issue as well as the different sound output ...

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

If it works with adaptive then why not just stick with that?

Because of 5.1 sound out instead of 2.0

If you'd care to provide a Debug Log demonstrating the issue as we have requested then perhaps then somebody might be able to give you some answers.
