Hello,

I've just receveid a Mi Box S and I've installed Kodi (19.3) to turn the box as a media center. I've plug a external HDD to the box.

So far, I've two issues.

1. Add the HDD as a media source :
I can see the HDD in the file browser of Kodi and I can navigate through directories but I can't add it as a media source. If I go to "Add video source" and then "Browse" I can select the HDD and if I select "External storage" I've the drive of the Mi Box. "Root filsystem" does nothing.

If I go in the file info menu and storage I can see an "storage/emulated/0" which is the drive of the box and a "storage/longcode" which size is the size of the HDD.

Question : how can I add my HDD as a source ?

2. Passthrough :
My box is connected via an optical cable to a surround system and I want that the media with DTS go to this system. The problem here is that I can select the passthrough option which is disabled.

Question : how can I activate the passthrough option ?

All works fine with this setup on a RPI3.
