Hello,
here i present you my very huge feature request.

Its often that subtitles are displayed too short and you arent able to read them completely.
Then you have to seek back and read again, etc.

It would be absolute fantastic if Kodi gets an option to show subtitles longer.
Something like "Show Subtitles longer for x seconds"
When i set it to 1 then all subtitles are shown for 1 second longer.

The subtitles subroutines have been revised quite a bit for Kodi v20 Nexus. Perhaps this can be taken into account as well.

On the other hand, people creating the subtitle files should also be a bit less narrow-minded when it comes to actually reading the subtitles. It's not as if everyone read just as fast.

Yes I agree that it would be a nice feature, but given timing of the sub can be set inside the .srt and often is, the burden belongs to the subtitle artists.
