Full Version: Files not showing anymore - mightily confused...

I did an scan for new items on my library, and most of my TV shows disappeared.
I then scanned again, and more disappeared.

However I am left with 3 that are showing.

So here is in ls -l of the specific "episodal TV" directory on my NAS. This is an NFS source on kodi
Image

Here is the screen when browsing by file in the same directory in Kodi

They should show in here regardless of whether they are in the library right? Because I am file browsing...

So just to really check, I mounted the storage directly as an NFS mount on the pi
Image

I can now see this on command line, and because my NAS has the setting "map NFS users to admin" on, everything is chmod 777
Image

And I added it as a source
Image

At which point it spent 2 hours scanning everything, so I know it saw all the data, and when I access that via file browsing
Image

It's empty....

And there is absolutely nothing related to this in the log.

I have another pi, with the exact same setup, which I use to test new config/features etc before deploying to the family kodi centre pi, and it is working completely fine, has none of these problems at all..
I really don't get it - any thoughts on what could be happening?

Cheers!

I'd say providing a full debug log (wiki) would be a good start.
Any updates on the NAS itself lately?
Rebooted pi
use file browser method, navigated to the local NFS mount

Browsing to the location added nothing to log FWIW

Scanning the location for new content - which then seems to always scan all locations, not the one you've selected, resulted in this log

There are some references to another source 192.168.1.206 which doesn't exist any more (for some reasons you can't totally remove sources, even a clean library and rescan doesn't get rid of this message)
Also, there are a bunch of getArt error messages, however just to be clear, the source in question is set as "local information only"
You need to enable debug mode.
Oops, sorry!

at 21:57:05 I clicked to enter the file space that shows nothing.
at 21:58:22 I started the scan

It finds dirs/files, says they have not changed, yet navigating to that directory shows nothing...
