Making a kodi build for a senior citizen with dementia. Kodi autoboots into a playlist of old movies, which I've programmed to work with a very simple tv remote. The channel up button advances to the next video. I'd like a way to switch to another playlist with the channel down button on the remote. I see this working 1 of 2 ways:
-remote button calls a function for 'next playlist' and user can cycle through all the playlists on the system (there will only be a few)
-remote button calls a specific playlist; the movies playlist plays on boot and timer by default, but channel down would activate the classic tv playlist
I've read everything I can about keybinds and kodi functions, but can't find anything about calling up playlist functions
