I jailbroke* my old ATV3 with Blackb0x v.1 (github), which installs KODI 14 onto ATV3. Story at Reddit - see install story in 1st comment
KODI 14 is fine as media server, but KODI 14 lhas no easy access to network VOLUMES like on a regular MacOS.
KODI 19 is shown listing network drive "DATA"
I have set up SAMBA share of the relevant DATA drive in the (dual drive) mac mini server - and on a Macbook Pro I can access "DATA" from KODI 19's Network settings on the same wifi network as the server and the ATV, but no matter how I try to access the same disk from ATV3 KODI 14, I end up with NO ACCESS or words to that effect.
In ATV3 KODI 14 in ZEROCONF I can see everything, but not access from there.
Anyone - what am I missing? Thank you.
