I'd like to  check whether I could use htsp for a personal project, however on the tvheadend site the doc boils down to
"htsp is tvheadends streaming format" on which docs was the hts addon written an where can they be found ?

We used the official spec from https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/Htsp and filled the gaps of the documentation (which is stuck at v24, and we’re meanwhile >30) by looking at tvheadend source code.

There is so many valuable and up to date in the documentation, far more than is missing. You definitely should have a look if you are serious about your project.
