XB2IRIS, when are you planning on hiting the holiday?

Anyways, thanks for letting us know, its good when a skinner keeps his fans at a finger tips length. Not like, for instance DJH, who dissapears without informaing a soul. So, bless you for keeping in touch for all of us, and I know u'll continue to keep us informed of your status, so we know when to communicate with you.

Thanks again!
He's going on holiday next weekend. No idea when he'll be back up and modding again. Hopefully it'll be soon after that, but don't let this stop us from supporting this amazing skin!
Livin Wrote:I can make some frames... send me the dimensions of all of them.

there are lots of dimensions for various frames... i reckon, if u can, make medium sized images about 500x500... i'm thinking universal frame... one that goes in every section... what u think... i need three versions... poster, episode, and square... u can create them in any dimensions u want... pm them to me when ur done... and i'll let u know what i think... but above all, no pressure... take ur time...

hmmm... u know everything don't u
xb2iris Wrote:thanks for that man... will definately add this in come Volume IV... change a few things to go with the skin better... but thanks a lot, it's good when people help out sorting issues i don't have the time to deal with... i'll probably pass my code and graphics i've created ur way when i get to it, so u can test the result (no xbox to play around with it anymore)... nyways... anything else u sort out that i can't test, pass it on ok...

Can't wait for yours.
In the meantime, i've changed the background and fixed the transition for the OK / CANCEL button. Shared it here too:

xb2iris,
For some reason it seems that my views are not being saved for Movies & TV Shows... whatever the last one I use was is what they are both set to?

Is this a bug?

What settings in GUISETTINGS.XML control these?

thx
hey xb2iris....I have to say that I'm really really impresses with Horizonz, and have started using it as default now on my Mini. As far as a media center UI goes, it really have pretty much most of what I want (I know it's totally personal and selfish!!), with the exception of a couple of things.

For someone doing all this on thier own I totally commend and congratulate you. I know how hard it was creating mediastream with a team of people, let alone on your own.

Keep going, as your working is paying off!

Best regards

Thanks so much Mike... i much appreciate that... can't believe this is ur default, a proud moment i must say... thanks for getting the fact that this is a solo mission, wish i had a team behind me, but until now, i find it more controllable... no idea how you guys deal with the entirety of having different people with different ideas working on one skin... but i get that things can be done a lot quicker and there'd be more time to concentrate on bugs and issues... but we'll see, a few guys are helping out with small bits and pieces, and its great having the help...

nyways... if u want, let me know what those exceptions are... Volume IV could accomodate some good advice Wink
Congratulations on the new forum! You so deserve it, and now this skin has the oppertunity to shine on its own accord!
I second that! Horizonz has always deserved it's own recognition.

It never deserved to be a skin that people visited as a pit stop for Aeon itself. It deserved to be classified on its own merits.

It's quality and shere completeness deserves a reputation of its own. I know it'll be less easy to find for most of the regulars, but now, we can all have a stop in the Horizonz forum instead of the Aeon forum!

Keep up the good work, and please, support this skin, and don't let it become a stalemate like so many other skins out there who occationally gets a post or visit! I count one post since the forum change. Lets support our skin guys!
There you go. Told you it'd would happen!

Anyways, so I guess there'll be no updates for awhile?
Congrats on the sub-forum buddy! I hope to contribute some real work soon!
Not to clog this thing up further but you do deserve it.
Hi,

I've got a strange problem here:

- I'm using XBMC Beta 2 with an Xbox
- The fanarts are downloaded automaticaly from the scrapper.

When I installed Horizinz volume I, everything was working perfectly

I'm trying now to use Horizonz Volume II or III but for those version, I can't manage to have the fanart working properly.

- TV show: In info or showcase, the fanarts doesn't display at show level, only at season or episode level.
- Movies: Fanart display only if I stay long enough on the selected movie.
I've unchecked "daisable backdrop..." to have my backdrops showed when I'm browsing my movies but from time to time, I still get the frey backgorund design.

I've tried everything, new installation, reset all settings, delete guisettings, ....

Can anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

What size are your backdrops? Also i'm wondering what filetype you use.

I'm using Horizonz on a good-old xbox also and i've changed my backdrops to 1280x720 in BMP format. All works smooth for me.

@ XB2IRIS: Congrats on having your own subforum! Your project absolutely deserves it!
