Full Version: How to create a save state

Hi,

I understand that Retroplayer can create save states of a game. How do I do this? Is there a key I can hit during game play that will save and restore the state?

I'm using OSMC (Kodi 20.1) on a Vero 4K, using a an 8-bitdo gamepad for playing snes games using the snes9x emulator.

(I largely copied this thread from 2019: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...id=2823634 . Since then, kodi has gotten a savestate manager.  I assume therefore multiple savestates can be made?)
The Save State Manager, developed for Google Summer of Code, was merged in Kodi v20 (and fixed in v20.1).

After playing a game, some savestates will be created. When you open the game again, instead of playing the game immediately, your recent savestates are shown, allowing you to continue where you left off.
