Hi,

I own a Magcubic 4K box with apparently H618 processor and Android TV 12 build in.

When changing the resoution to 4k 60Hz it seems to work and my projector Optoma P2 shows this info. So it seems that a 4k signal reaches my projector.

Youtube movies seem to also correctly reaches my projector.

However, when starting Kodi v20.2 and if I'm diving into options and System I would like to change the resolution to 4k here as well. But I can. Only resolution offered is 1080p and 60Hz.

Why is that? What can I do to change the resolution to 4K?

Many thanks, Dennis
That is just the GUI, it dosent matter for playing videos.
True.

It worked.

Although not fully.

When I'm setting the box to 4k 60Hz it will run the 70GB 24Hz file with 60Hz - not so smooth.
When I'm setting the box to 4k 24Hz it will run the 70GB 24Hz file with 24Hz - smooth.

Vice versa with smaller files that have 60Hz as native refresh rate.

I have set refresh rate change set to ALWAYS in Player->Video in combination with a delay time of 2 seconds. But this setting does not seem to have an effect.

Can I provide you with a log or something like this to see what and why it is not working?

Many thanks, Dennis
Try set it to on start/stop and whitelist the refreshrates your P2 supports.
