Full Version: Way to force video to wait for audio to start playing?

Hi, just got a Nvidia shield TV Pro (2019) and have spent the past couple days setting it up. Hosting a Plex media server off the shield and using the PlexKodiConnect addon to use Kodi for playback. I've been through the recommended settings from the nvidia shield subreddit and the audio passthrough thread stickied to this forum, but playback always results in the video starting first and the audio starting about half a second later. I've installed the unpause jumpback addon with a delay of 10 seconds, it does literally nothing to help. Is there any way to make the video wait for the audio to come through first? Or is there a setting I'm missing? Genuinely at the end of my rope here, plex is a shit show on its own but I didn't think I'd spend a bunch of time figuring it out only for Kodi to inherently not be able to play a video and audio track at the same time. I'd be completely fine if every time I played a video on Kodi I had to wait 5 seconds for it to start, as long as the audio wasn't desynced. I can get a log if needed.
Is it desynced, e.g. audio / video have 500 ms offset or is it that you see the video and only 500 ms audio sets in?

For the 500 ms cut at the beginning, see: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues/23535
It's both, audio takes about half a second to start after video playback starts and audio is desynced from video playback. Assumed they were related and the same duration, but if that issue can be reproduced without desync then I assume not. Audio not starting immediately is bothersome but not a big deal; audio desync is pretty gruesome.
Got around to making a debug log, here it is. Just removed my username https://paste.kodi.tv/guyicuneti.kodi
Problem isolated to plex or also local files?
