I have Google Cjromecast 4K and in Kodi Nexus I can't change subbtittle position in traditional way as before:
1. Put in player optionsubttitles - manual postion
2. During movie play go to video option and cabibration then you can change subttitle posotion by remote up-down - it changes on animation but when you come back to moivie it is still on low bottom.
The same is with bold - you can change on bold and stiill are standard
It works on no name (MBOX 905SX chip) players when I have old version of Kodi (Matrix 19.3) but not on Chromecast
